Writing to Win Writing on Demand builds the vocabulary of all content standards with 12 critical-thinking writing strategies that teach students to write what they learn a different way than their teacher taught it. Includes l quantified teacher expectations  l PALs A-B pairs and l student self- and peer-assessment.  Evidence: Three 15-minute sessions a week yield double-digit gains on tests of ELA, math, science, and social studies.
