When our schools closed about 6 weeks ago, most of us couldn’t have predicted that at the beginning of May we would still be closed. As we begin to accept the realization that this could go on for a very long time we might be thinking about the loss of our pre-quarantined routines and the losses of treasured activities. Still we continue to carry on as we start to settle into our new routines and adjust to our “new normal.”
No one will come out of this experience unchanged. This pandemic has and will continue to create challenges for everyone worldwide and we are certainly seeing that effect in our communities. In this issue we will take a look at how our teachers and students are managing remote learning and what gaps they are facing. We also welcome new partners to the GG4L collaborative.
